Chef/Owner E.J. Harvey has been catering on Nantucket for 30 years. Along with operating his successful businesses, the Seagrille Restaurant, the Nantucket Chowder Company and the Brotherhood of Thieves, E.J. has provided a myriad of services to Nantucketers and seasonal visitors alike.
Whether you are looking for a backyard family reunion, a BBQ dinner, or a sit- down wedding for 200, EJ will handle your event like it was his own, not that he hasn’t done a few of those! He catered his own wedding 34 years ago, and both of his daughters’, including one on 11/11/11!
EJ will customize the menus to your liking and will provide you the attentive service that you desire. Most events are handled at venues off-premise, but depending on the season and availability, the Seagrille is an option with it’s all-new closed in patio space.

E.J. Harvey is a Culinary of America graduate. He has been working in the Restaurant and Catering Business for the past 36 years. Notable events E.J. has catered include the Figawi Sailboat Race (past 10 years), the Boy’s and Girl’s Club Summer Groove for many years, and the dedication of the Great Point Lighthouse. E.J. has also catered many weddings ranging from his own in Newport, R.I. to a Kennedy Wedding in Squam.
